As an introduction and starting point for the discussion, (4) Johannes Plass, CEO at Mutabor, will present a brief market survey that throws light on the all-important themes of sustainability, digitalisation, the knowledge society, and the next generation from the perspective of the industry.

Born in Berlin, Jeannine Koch is a graduate media consultant and studied English/American Studies & Modern German Philology at the HU and TU-Berlin. In 2008, she completed her master’s degree in International Communications at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. After graduating in Berlin in 2010, she took over the management of the Marketing & Communications department of a Berlin shoe label. From 2012 – 2017 she established important and forward-looking perspectives for digital communication and modern perception of the traditional brand “Gartenausstellung” as Head of Marketing and Communication at Berlin’s first International Garden Exhibition (IGA Berlin 2017), which took place in 2017 as the largest event of the year with 1.6 million visitors* in the German capital. Since January 2018, Jeannine Koch has been Director of re:publica, Europe’s largest social conference on digitisation, where she is involved in shaping another important chapter of digital society.
