Georg W. Broich ist 1965 in Grevenbroich geboren und hat drei Söhne. Der gelernte Koch übernahm 1987 das in 1891 gegründete Familienunternehmen vom Vater – damals mit zwei Mitarbeitern. Heute führt er die erfolgreiche BROICHHOSPITALITYGROUP mit acht Unternehmen und 260 Vollangestellten. Er ist außerdem Präsident der LECA (Leading Caterer Association), Vorstand der FBMA (Food & Beverage Management Association) sowie Vorstand in seiner Stiftung „Düsseldorfer Kinderträume“.
