Profile
After training as a publishing assistant and studying economics, Claudia Michalski worked for various media companies for 25 years, 12 of them as the managing director of prestigious publishing companies (Beuth, Handelsblatt). During this time she gained comprehensive management experience, initiated innovations and advanced digitalisation. Prompted by extensive reorganisations in the media sector, she found her calling in providing personal and professional consulting to executives undergoing career change processes and began systematically pursuing this path.
Having prepared herself by training as a certified systemic business coach, she established herself as an independent entrepreneur in early 2016, took over the majority interest in the Berlin-based agency OMC GmbH and joined the company as a managing partner responsible for operational consulting. OMC stands for OpenMind Management Consulting and is a consultancy that supports executive staff and companies during change processes. The company focusses on aptitude testing, human resource development and individual outplacement. It is headquartered in Berlin and Leipzig and operates nationwide.
In order to stay up to date with the latest trends in business and society, Ms. Michalski is an active member of the advisory boards of various media companies and start-ups.
