Concept Summary

Škoda Portfolio preview | 25.04.23 | Škoda Design-Hall, Bezdečin After the successful "Explore More" event in 2022, where Skoda presented its new brand identity, a second event was created as follow-up. Under the motto "Let’s Explore" Škoda gave a first preview of their future portfolio and the strategic direction of the car manufacturer until 2026. In order to give journalists and influencers a first glimpse of their upcoming model range, conceived in their new design language »Modern Solid«, Škoda created an exhibition based on abstract solid sculptures of their future vehicles – with a special focus on E-mobility Already when picking the location, a very special venue was chosen. For the first time, the guests were granted access to Škoda's design hall in Bezdecin. The otherwise strictly secret hall is normally not accessible to people outside the company. Especially for this occasion the brand opened the doors to their heart of design and offered exclusive insights. For the evening, the otherwise clean & functional hall was transformed into a cozy and inviting event location. The radial media set-up created an agile and dynamic talk format. Due to the 360-degree display and the central seating - without a real stage or grandstand - the guests got into a free flow and a lively event was created. In a special media show finally the sculptures were revealed. By using a 30 meter semi-transparent curtain the key messages and a lightshow lead to the final drop of the curtain – unvealing the solid sculptures. In the aftershow the board members and spokesperson were available and accessible to all guests – creating a very special vernissage atmosphere on eye-level.
