Concept Summary

In Davos, George P. Johnson transformed an entire hotel into DP World House, a branded pavilion welcoming leading figures from business, government, and society, alongside other visitors to Davos. The pavilion brought DP World’s global operations to life through an engaging, interactive experience, showcasing the company’s leadership in innovation, digitalization, and sustainability.

Visitors explored the flow of goods, supply chain efficiency, and the collaboration of technology and human expertise through storytelling and hands-on interaction. Installations offered interactive glimpses of the global ecosystem.

Impressively, the Scala Restaurant was fully rebuilt into a sophisticated, modular pavilion designed for immersive installations, media events, and networking. Adaptive lighting, meticulous detailing, and seamless construction created an elegant, fluid environment. Remarkably, the entire pavilion was constructed in just 10 days and later dismantled and restored—demonstrating exceptional precision, planning, and craftsmanship.

Sustainability was central: ISO 20121 principles guided carbon measurement and material reuse, proving high-impact experiences can be responsible and forward-thinking.

Attention to detail extended to lighting, sound, signage, and visitor flow, creating a cohesive, immersive experience. The result was a memorable showcase that amplified DP World’s global influence, reinforcing its position as a visionary, socially responsible force in trade.

Ultimately, the DP World House was more than a pavilion - it showed what’s possible when vision, expertise, and flawless execution come together to inform, inspire, and connect.
