Concept Summary

The Expo 2020 in Dubai – a get-together of different cultures and participants from countries all over the world. As part of the German Pavilion, VOSS+FISCHER in cooperation with the music and culture manager Mike P. Heisel, implemented the cultural program at CAMPUS GERMANY in the so-called Culture Lab, which presented visitors a participatory offer. True to the motto of the world exhibition „Connecting Minds, Creating the Future“, the agency implemented various interactive modules and cultural program points from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 to present Germany's cultural diversity as well as to provide a platform for open, intercultural encounters. Composed of six "sessions", the Culture Lab combined music, dance, visual arts, gaming, sports and science. An aim was to promote young acts and upcoming talents in particular. With the support of cooperation partners, for example universities and educational institutions, the organizers ensured a varied and rousing program that not only represented Germany authentically and sympathetically to the outside world, but also understood itself as a community-building, integrative and inclusive invitation. The goal of the program was bringing together thoughts, ideas and new perspectives and promoting the idea of global cooperation.
