Challenge SENEC, the innovative EnBW subsidiary based in Leipzig, provides sustainable solar solutions and has been setting standards as a manufacturer of high-performance intelligent storage systems since 2009. At the world´s biggest solar industry fair, ees | Intersolar, in May 2019 in Munich, SENEC presented itself for the first time as a full-service provider: from photo voltaic to storage systems, from wall boxes to digital cloud solutions, the company provides holistic energy ecosystems from a single source. The core task was to highlight the innovative product portfolio, position SENEC as a full-service provider, and sustainably activate existing and potential partners. In addition, the new corporate design had to be incorporated into the trade fair design for the first time. Implementation SCHACHZUG created a 360° communication and activation concept for the 500 m² booth. The booth architecture focused on an opening and inviting atmosphere to encourage dialogue. An activation booth at the fair entrance and a guerilla campaign drew attention and visitors to the main booth. An incisive text and image branding of “SENEC 360°” was used as a consistent leitmotif in the architecture and in all accompanying communicative measures. Initially conceived as a motto for the fair, “SENEC 360°” has become the umbrella brand for product communication for the whole portfolio. Results The sales target was achieved on the second of four fair days. At the closing, the target was surpassed by almost 250%. In addition, the number of partners was almost tripled and SENEC celebrated the most successful fair presence in its history.
