Schüco welcomed around 16,000 visitors to BAU 2019 in Munich. Under the motto "Experience Progress", Schüco presented selected innovation topics across an exhibition stand measuring 2400 qm. As architects' and fabricators' time and receptiveness are limited at exhibitions, Schüco devised a clearly structured stand concept to make their exhibition visit efficient. 25 large exhibits were allocated to the central topics and shown with their practical application in the topic areas of Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings and Digitalisation. Following these topics, the architectural concept divided the stand space into three blocks, which conveyed comfort, urbanity and technical clarity through their clearly differentiated material style and mood lighting. The central element of the stand was the "Innovation Walk", which ran through the middle of the stand space. Six-metre-high LED walls provided media depth to the topics with application-specific animations. On the back, visitors were able to find out more information from the mediatecture using their personalised RFID cards. The upper floor was also divided into three bar and restaurant zones. Here there was ample space for more in-depth conversations. The overall concept was rounded off with additional communication space in the ICM at Messe München. The specific focus on a small number of topics and exhibits in combination with clearly structured exhibition stand architecture helped to convey topics and information in a sustainable and target group-specific way – long after the visit to the stand too. This was how Schüco made BAU 2019 the most successful exhibition in the company's history.
