Statement

We must not judge tomorrow’s events by yesterday’s standards. Live communication is where digital creator communities, Gen Z culture and tactile experiences merge with traditional event formats.

The fact that the BrandEx Award focuses precisely on this and gives creator marketing and influencer events the space they deserve is the right and necessary step for the development of our industry.

For me, as a judge, this year is all about genuine emotions, bold change and, above all, people. We use technology and AI to streamline processes – not to replace creativity, but to reclaim the most valuable thing of all: time for genuine togetherness, meaningful encounters and strong communities. I’m here to reward precisely this kind of change!

Bouya Kiangani Ndombasi is the editor of Munich Fashion Week and Basel Fashion Week, as well as the founder and CEO of b.seen GmbH in Munich – an agency operating at the intersection of AI and event marketing. His vision is that digital progress should bring people closer together. We see visibility as an emotional moment that connects brands with communities and puts people at the centre.

b.seen operates across three strategic visibility solutions. CMTY – a creator ecosystem with over 500 creators from the DACH region and a growing community of over 5,000 active members in the lifestyle sector. Photobox – a physical brand tool designed to look like a magazine cover, which is 100 per cent customisable, suits any event, engages people and emotionally extends brand moments. AI Integration links existing AI tools to create intelligent interfaces for event workflows, automation and creative scaling. Clients and partners include BMW, Hugo Boss, CUPRA, Mon Chéri, L’Osteria, RTL ZWEI and ENERGY Deutschland.

Bouya is himself a creator and AI consultant. He supports event organisers, agencies, lifestyle brands and companies in onboarding their teams to technological and cultural change – from tool integration to the optimisation of creative processes.
