Track: Cultural Change

When you assume that 20% of the population has a disability – visible or invisible – why isn’t this potential target group recognised by event organisers? This issue will be discussed by organisers, service providers and people with disabilities.

Profile
Raúl Aguayo-Krauthausen was born in Peru in 1980 and now lives in Berlin. His second home is the Web, where he twitters, blogs and posts about issues that are important to him –  sometimes humorously, sometimes seriously and sometimes pointedly.
He studied corporate and industrial communication as well as design thinking. After a few detours in the advertising world, he worked for four years at Radio Fritz, a show broadcast by rbb (the regional radio station for the German state of Brandenburg).
Together with several colleagues he founded two not-for-profit organisations – SOZIALHELDEN e.V. and AbilityWatch e.V., where he works as an activist, speaker and consultant for inclusion and barrier-free access.
