Currently, live communication focusses on direct experience and personal interaction. On the other hand, we are working intensively on refining digital simulation to the point where it is as similar to live experience as possible, or even surpasses the latter. What are the opportunities and challenges involved in this development?

Christoph Kirst was born in 1963 and studied literature and theatre at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
After his studies, the native of Fulda worked as a dramaturge, assistant director and director at various German theatres. Among others he worked at the renowned Schauspielhaus Hamburg and at the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin (Schiller Theater). The father of two came into contact with live communication for the first time as artistic director of the “Summer Festival of Berlin Stages”. He supervised this successful event for four consecutive years – from 1998 to 2001.
After his time at the theatre, Christoph Kirst first worked as a freelance conceptual designer before joining the Berlin branch of the event agency kogag Bremshey & Domning GmbH as creative director in 2000. Later he took over the management of creation at the agency headquarters in Solingen and supported companies such as DaimlerChrysler, VW, Rheinmetall, Bosch-Rexroth and eBay.
Christoph Kirst joined insglück in 2005.
The managing director and creative director specialises in the conception and creative implementation of corporate and public events and supports companies from the automotive, pharmaceutical and capital goods industries. The interactive and emotional involvement of the participants makes stagings under his direction captivating – complex contents are implemented in a concise and comprehensible way. Christoph Kirst has already received several renowned industry awards for his creative and staged achievements.
