Discover ‘Other Places’ – other communication channels via the example of the artistic and landscape-architectural installation ‘Future Forest’. This temporary installation formed the centrepiece of the Zürich Festival 2018 and inspired passersby and interested parties to stop for a moment and think about the ecological issues that have steadily become increasingly relevant. Join us in reflection and encounter a different form of communication at our ‘Speakers’ Corner’.
Profile
Belén Montoliú, a visual artist and curator, was born in Madrid in 1979. She studied fine arts at Complutense University of Madrid and costume design at Berlin University of the Arts. Her work as a set and costume designer took her to the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Centro Dramático Nacional (National Drama Centre) in Madrid, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden (State Playhouse Dresden), the Munich Biennale and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. She has taught at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen and at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil as a guest lecturer.
Most recently Belén Montoliú was the curator of the Zürich Festival 2018.
